‘A beer by any other name…’ to paraphrase Shakespeare. From the land of Shakespeare, comes Brakspear Triple. A strong beer with a double fermentation, the second being in the bottle itself. Not a huge fan of strong beers in general, this one weighs in a 7.2%, a bit of a buzz for sure. Dark brown in colour, thick and sweet, reminds of some of the ones brewed by Monks. It’s not bad and if you are partial to this type of beer you’ll probably like it. Cool little bee on the cap, and on their website a bee follows your mouse. This ones pretty sweet so I guess the bees will love it, as long at 7.2% they’re not drinking and flying.
