Beer a Day Blog

My opinion on a variety of beers.

Alba Scots Pine Ale

A few Scottish things I’m not sure about, kilts, haggis, bagpipes and now Alba Scots Pine Ale. This one pours an orange colour and very cloudy, only when it’s almost done could I even see through it. A sweet taste reminiscent of a bock or strong beer, but without the alcohol taste. With each sip I thought do I like this or not? Well I’m still not sure, would I have another, not likely, not that it’s bad just not my thing. This one came as part of a sampler from Scotland, liked the first one, not so much this one. So I’m going with a rating right down the middle.

5/10
