Beer a Day Blog

My opinion on a variety of beers.

Cooper’s Sparkling Ale

Cloudy and orange in colour this is a pretty decent ale. Very smooth with the right amount of bitterness. Cooper’s Sparkling Ale is a good tasting traditional style ale hailing from Australia. A strong beer with a 5.8% alcohol content so a bit of a kick, unlike the picture of a kangaroo on the label that will give you quite a kick. No preservatives so it must be healthy, so have one to toast your health. Haven’t seen this one around alot so you may have to head to Australia to try one.

8/10

  1. Coopers export 3 types – Pale (Green),Sparkling (Red) and Extra Stout (Yellow). They are all good.

  2. Now being sold in Waitrose and Selfridges. Premium beer at a premium price. This is the best that Australia produces (I should know, I’m an Aussie!)
