Beer a Day Blog

My opinion on a variety of beers.

Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weiße

If you want to try a very traditional tasting Hefe Weiße (unfiltered wheat beer) from Germany then this one from Bayern (Bavaria) is a good one to try. Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weiße is not for everyone, and is a stronger tasting, very traditional Wheat beer. Brewed in München with a recipe that hasn’t changed in almost 600 years. Give this one a try it may be a bit of an acquired taste but it is very good.

8.5/10

  1. Hacker Pschoor is a benchmark type weiss. It is the one that I measure all others by. The taste and nose of this wonderful ale is unmatched.
