Beer a Day Blog

My opinion on a variety of beers.

Tsingtao 青岛啤酒厂

Tsingtao is a lager from China. It is so far the best Chinese beer I have yet to try, not that that is saying a lot, I haven’t found these beers very good.  Tsingtao Brewery is China’s largest. The Brewery was founded by German settlers in order to brew beer in a Western tradition. Well this beer isn’t exactly like a European beer. It is very pale in colour, and not a lot of flavour, a bit watered down. Probably best ice-cold on a hot day. If you want to try a Chinese beer this is the one to try, but keep in mind it is very average.
