Leffe Blonde
Leffe Blonde is an example of a Belgium Abbey beer. It is the most popular and thought to be the first of its kind. The beer is brewed under licence and royalties are paid to the Abbey. It is orange in colour, sweet tasting with a strong hint of spices, it contains 6.6 % alcohol, so it will give you a bit of a buzz. They advertise themselves as a perfect aperitif when relaxing with friends and family. Not really my style of beer, the spicy taste is a bit overwhelming. Comes in six packs so you may want to think about whether or not you want six, or try to find a single.
