Beer a Day Blog

My opinion on a variety of beers.

Samuel Smith’s Winter Ale

Let’s stay with the winter ales. Another one from England, Samuel Smith’s Winter Ale has a dark amber colour, strong taste, reminds me of some of the other strong, dark ales. Fairly good tasting,  with a hint of bitterness, but tastes much like any other dark ale, nothing to make it standout from the crowd. Worth a try. Interesting label, 550 ml, 6% alcohol.

7.5/10
