Shock Top Belgian White
Judging by the can Shock Top Belgian White is a beer with attitude. The label features an orange wearing sunglasses and sporting a Mohawk. This beer from St. Louis, USA is kind of a lighter version of a Rickards White (aka Blue Moon). Unfiltered and an orange cloudy colour, it is not overpowering in taste at all, actually it could use a bit more taste, a watery version of what I would expect. A hint of orange and no other spices. Now it would go down very easy on a hot day. Enjoyed this one on Canadian Thanksgiving. Another note on the can it reminds me more of a soft drink or maybe a alcohol cooler can, got to say I do like the orange with attitude.

About My Beer a Day (or whenever I feel like it) Blog
Hello everyone, ever found yourself looking at the beers in the imported or specialty section, thinking to yourself, I wonder if that one is any good. Well I have started this blog giving my opinion on a variety different beers and hopefully I can help you out. I am a beer lover who enjoys trying different brands. I am by no means an expert, just a regular guy who enjoys sampling beers. I will be drinking different beers from around the world, one beer a day (at least most days), and commenting on them. I will drink each beer chilled from a chilled mug or glass (my personal preference) and then rate them. Most of the beers I am reviewing have been purchased from the LCBO or Beer Store in Ontario. Most beers will be 500 ml bottles or cans. If you are interested in trying any of the beers I have recommended, try your local LCBO, although some are only available for a limited time. At the moment I am concentrating on imported brands and occasionally I will be commenting on local specialty beers. I will not be commenting on big name brands such as Molson Canadian and Coors Light.
If you are looking for a place to tell you what beer goes best with a certain cheese or cavier, then move on this isn’t the place for you. If you think beer goes with Pizza and Chicken Wings, then welcome to my blog.
