“The Beer to slay a mighty thirst” well I had a mighty thirst to slay when I poured myself this amber ale from England. Well a mighty thirst it did slay. I really liked this one, amber in colour, smooth with just the right amount of bitterness. Goliath from the very eclectic Whychwood Breweries is worth a try. I thoroughly enjoyed their Hobgoblin and liked this one too. Looking forward to trying a couple of more from these fine folks, although wasn’t keen on their Fiddler’s Elbow. So if you’ve got a thirst that needs slaying…

About My Beer a Day (or whenever I feel like it) Blog
Hello everyone, ever found yourself looking at the beers in the imported or specialty section, thinking to yourself, I wonder if that one is any good. Well I have started this blog giving my opinion on a variety different beers and hopefully I can help you out. I am a beer lover who enjoys trying different brands. I am by no means an expert, just a regular guy who enjoys sampling beers. I will be drinking different beers from around the world, one beer a day (at least most days), and commenting on them. I will drink each beer chilled from a chilled mug or glass (my personal preference) and then rate them. Most of the beers I am reviewing have been purchased from the LCBO or Beer Store in Ontario. Most beers will be 500 ml bottles or cans. If you are interested in trying any of the beers I have recommended, try your local LCBO, although some are only available for a limited time. At the moment I am concentrating on imported brands and occasionally I will be commenting on local specialty beers. I will not be commenting on big name brands such as Molson Canadian and Coors Light.
If you are looking for a place to tell you what beer goes best with a certain cheese or cavier, then move on this isn’t the place for you. If you think beer goes with Pizza and Chicken Wings, then welcome to my blog.
