Ebulum Elderberry Black Ale
Another Scottish beer from my sampler, any more and I’ll probably be wearing a kilt. Ebulum Elderberry Black Ale is a pretty good traditional style black ale, with a hint of coffee taste, the Williams Brothers have brewed this one from a 16th century recipe. The beer itself was introduced to Scotland by the Druids in the 9th century. Elderberry is supposed to have some medicinal powers and is high in tannins, so not only is it enjoyable it’s good for you. If you enjoy a good black ale then I think you’ll enjoy this one.
